We Speak Dance: The Belgrade Dance Festival Brings the World to Serbia (7 March - 15 April)

Under the slogan WE SPEAK DANCE, one of Europe's most prestigious dance festivals announces its 22nd edition, running from March 7 to April 15, 2025. This year’s program will feature 17 dance companies from 13 countries, presenting 28 choreographic works across Belgrade, Subotica, and Novi Sad.

A celebration of dance, the festival will bring together world-class artists and outstanding troupes, using the language of movement to explore pressing social themes. The performances promise to create powerful moments that inspire emotions and spark change.

Thanks to this festival, Belgrade has become a key destination on the international dance scene, a place where new productions debut and both renowned and emerging choreographers are given equal attention. The festival’s dynamic programming has solidified its international reputation, while its commitment to high artistic standards and bold new choreographic styles continues to raise audience expectations.

Since its founding, the festival has presented over 550 choreographic works, attracting an average of 18,000 spectators and around 100 accredited journalists from Serbia and abroad each year.

Wine Lovers, Take Note: "Vinaria 2025" Brings Top Wines to Plovdiv
Over 200 wines and spirits from Bulgaria, Italy, Turkey, Serbia, and Greece are competing for the prestigious "Golden Rhyton" awards at Vinaria 2025, one of the biggest wine events in the region.

Held from February 18 to 22 at the International Fair Plovdiv, the competition is judged by a panel of 12 top enologists, including international experts such as renowned Italian sommelier Maurizio Ferreri and Turkish wine specialist Banu Salı.

This year’s entries highlight Bulgaria’s rich wine heritage, featuring blends of international grape varieties with local favorites like Mavrud, Gamza, and Melnik. Old vintage white wines have also impressed the jury with their depth and character.

The winners will be announced on February 19 at a grand ceremony in the Congress Center of the Plovdiv Fair. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or a casual traveler, Vinaria 2025 is the perfect place to explore top-quality wines and experience Bulgaria’s growing reputation in the global wine scene.
