Animation is almost wrapped, and we couldn't be more excited.
Our directors Carlos and Lorena recently spent a few days in Belgium with the incredible team at Waooh!, reviewing shots, polishing details, meeting animators in a non virtual way… and conducting some very serious research into Belgian beer. 🍻

As we enter the final weeks of animation on DinoGames, we're reminded that great films are built by talented people who love what they do, and enjoy a good laugh along the way.
Huge thanks to the entire Waooh! team for their creativity, passion, hard work, and for helping bring this adventure to life, one frame at a time.

The finish line is getting closer. The game is almost ready to launch. 🎮🦖

Rediseñar el 'pipeline' de creación audiovisual gracias a la Inteligencia Artificial y convertir a Navarra en un referente internacional en este campo. Ese es el objetivo de , un proyecto colaborativo impulsado por y la UPNA que busca transformar el sector y que tiene aplicaciones en otros ámbitos como la educación, la salud, el turismo, la industria, la agricultura o la defensa. La iniciativa está coordinada por ADItech, coordinador a su vez del Sistema Navarro de I+D+i (SINAI), y financiada por el Gobierno de Navarra / Nafarroako Gobernua.

Rediseñar el 'pipeline' de creación audiovisual gracias a la IA es el objetivo de Génesis, un proyecto colaborativo de Professor Octopus AI Lab y la UPNA.

During the last San Sebastián Film Festival, the conference “Leading the Audiovisual of the Future” brought together companies, institutions and industry professionals to discuss artificial intelligence, regulation and Europe’s role in the global landscape.

Our CEO, Carlos F. de Vigo, took part in the discussions with an idea we strongly believe in:

At Dr. Platypus & Ms. Wombat, together with our laboratory Professor Octopus AI Lab, we work precisely in that direction: developing technology that helps create more and better, always respecting the human, cultural and creative value behind each project.

La inteligencia artificial navarra da un paso más 🎬🤖

La Cadena SER Navarra entrevistó a nuestro CEO Carlos F. de Vigo (Dr. Platypus & Ms. Wombat / Professor Octopus AI Lab) y a Carlos San Julián, programador de Cines Golem , para hablar sobre SALAIA, nuestro nuevo proyecto de I+D que empieza ahora y que cuenta con el apoyo del Gobierno de Navarra / Nafarroako Gobernua.

En la entrevista explicamos qué buscamos con SALAIA y por qué este tipo de investigación puede abrir nuevas maneras de vivir el cine. Todavía queda trabajo por delante, los primeros resultados llegarán el año que viene, pero ya estamos construyendo las bases para una experiencia que conecte tecnología, creatividad y público desde Navarra.

Nuestro CEO, Carlos F. de Vigo , entre las voces que construyen el futuro de la industria navarra

No os habíamos comentado que este Junio se presentó en el Museo de Navarra el libro “Doce azoteas. Maneras de construir el futuro de la industria en Navarra”, escrito por Cristina Ochoa y editado por el Departamento de Industria y de Transición Ecológica y Digital Empresarial.

La obra recoge doce conversaciones con personas que hoy son clave en la transformación económica de Navarra. Empresarios, fundadores y líderes que han construido proyectos sólidos mirando siempre hacia adelante… y cuya visión ayuda a entender cómo podemos seguir creciendo como comunidad.

Entre esas doce azoteas está Carlos F. de Vigo, CEO del Grupo Dr. Platypus & Ms. Wombat y fundador del laboratorio Professor Octopus AI_LAB.
Su entrevista recorre su trayectoria en el cine, los videojuegos y la inteligencia artificial aplicada, pero sobre todo pone el foco en aquello que define nuestro proyecto desde el inicio:
👉 crear tecnología con propósito,
👉 innovar sin perder lo humano,
👉 y hacer industria desde Navarra para el mundo.
