Afgelopen week kondigde Fabrique Fantastique in aanwezigheid van Ridder Muis en Meneer Heks een magische wintershow aan, die vanaf 20 december tot en met 4 januari in de Landcommanderij van Alden Biesen te beleven zal zijn. ❄️
“Met de Ridder Muis Wintershow willen we de verbeelding van kinderen prikkelen en verwondering rond de winterperiode stimuleren,” vertelt Tom, CEO van Fabrique Fantastique.

Wij zijn trots deel te mogen uitmaken van de Belgische entourage op deze editie van Cartoon Forum. We zijn heel blij om mee te delen dat Olga wordt geproduceerd door Apartment 11 productions en Fabrique Fantastique, in co-productie met VRT -Ketnet. ✨
👉 Donderdag om 12u presenteren we het project tijdens Cartoon forum ⭢ wij kijken ernaar uit om Olga en Meh tot leven te brengen voor een internationaal publiek!
Gebaseerd op de hilarische en hartverwarmende graphic novels van Elise Gravel, volgt de serie de nieuwsgierige jonge wetenschapper Olga en haar buitenaardse metgezel Meh. Verwacht humor, wetenschap en heel veel avontuur! 🚀

In 2014, animator and director Tom Van Gestel founded the animation studio and production house Fabrique Fantastique (FF) in Geel, Belgium.
Today the company is located in an old factory building in Lier and has almost thirty employees. Tom Van Gestel and co-producer Geert Torfs manage a team of 2D and 3D artists, draftsmen, graphic designers, screenwriters, up- and-coming directors and two project managers. It’s a close-knit team where employees are given the opportunity to learn from each other, and thus become proficient across multiple disciplines. The versatility of the group ensures that the projects, with the exception of sound finishing, can be fully realised within FF.
From the off, FF has, as an animation studio realised a number of diverse projects: a BOIC publicity spot for the Olympic Games, concert visuals for Ellie Goulding and George Ezra, backgrounds for a theatre production, the short film The Girl by Hans Op de Beeck and the 3D animation and effects for the feature film Urbanus: De Vuilnisheld.
Over the past two years, FF has co- produced the Dutch, award-winning mid-length feature Mind My Mind with Cinété and the feature film HEINZ with Bosbros, for which the team drew all the backgrounds.
Currently, FF is developing the comic series Boerke, consisting of two hundred animation clips of 30 seconds each, based on Pieter De Poortere’s comics. In this brochure we would like to introduce four other projects that are currently in production.
