Concert piano et quatuor Γ  cordes avec deux Ε“uvres : Β« La Jeune Fille et la Mort Β» de Schubert, le tube hyper connu, et Β« Vers la flamme Β» de Scriabine, compositeur russe. Oeuvre, qui mΓ©rite d’Γͺtre connue, parle de renaissance aprΓ¨s la mort, de rΓ©surrection.

Pianoconcert en strijkkwartet met twee werken: Β« Der Tod und das MΓ€dchen Β» van Schubert, het hyperbekende meesterwerk, en Β« Vers la flamme Β» van Scriabine, een Russische componist. Zijn werk, dat meer bekendheid verdient, gaat over wedergeboorte na de dood, over verrijzenis.

✌️Two atmospheres, 🀘two aesthetics for the same theme: the death.

Schubert's β€œDeath and the Maiden” reflects the composer's illness and inner distress, expressing through music his ambivalence towards death, between fear and peace. The work exudes a tragic and introspective atmosphere.

Scriabin, meanwhile, was inspired by an apocalyptic vision he had during a journey. He imagined a monumental, unfinished work, β€œThe Mysterium”, intended to provoke β€œapocalyptic ecstasy”. In this work, we present β€œTowards the Flame”.

Schubert expresses death as an intimate and human experience, while Scriabin conceives it as a cosmic rebirth.

Bij de afsluiting van het 🎼Musique Femmes Festival 2025🎹 is onze vreugde groot dat we de werken van al deze vrouwelijke componistes hebben kunnen laten klinken en dat we Sint-Gillis hebben laten trillen op hun schitterende melodieën!
