I used to wonder what I did wrong when people walked out of my life with no explanation.
I would replay every convo, every moment, trying to figure out if I was the problem.
But with time, I realised sometimes people leave because they were never meant to stay.

They didn’t value me.
Or they only valued me when they needed something.

Fast forward 4 years no texts, no calls, no effort.
And now suddenly you’re in my inbox asking for help.
No “I’m sorry for disappearing.” No “how have you been?”
Just… help.

It took me a while to get here, but let me say this clearly:
I’m not mad.
I’m not bitter.
But I am different.

You don’t get to disappear and then return like nothing happened.
Access to me now comes with respect, consistency, and effort.
Not memories.
Not convenience.
Not guilt.

I’m no longer watering dead plants just because they once bloomed.
I’ve got new roots. New peace. And not everyone deserves a seat at this version of my life.

I wish you well, but from a distance.
The door you closed is still closed and I’m finally okay with that. 🖤

Times are hard.

This is not the time to be having kids just because society says so, or because “it will all work out.”
Give birth to the number of kids you know you can properly care for emotionally, financially and mentally.

Don’t let your children grow up thinking their uncles and aunties are wicked just because they can’t help.
The truth is… everyone is going through their own struggles.
Some people barely have enough for themselves.
It’s not wickedness, it’s survival.

Let’s stop putting pressure on others to carry responsibilities that aren’t theirs.
Let’s be intentional. Let’s plan. Let’s protect our peace and theirs.

Children deserve love and stability.
And sometimes, love means waiting.
Love means choosing what you’re ready for, not just what “should” happen.

No shade, no judgment. Just truth.
Do what you can, with what you have.
Wisdom will always be louder than noise. ❤️
