🚴‍♀️ Celebrating Mobility Week in Wallonia 🌍

Yesterday, 22 EVS team members hopped on their bikes and rode together to our HQ in Liège Science Park as part of the European Mobility Week. The ride was filled with laughter and camaraderie, while highlighting our shared commitment to teamwork, greener choices, and a cleaner future.

By supporting this initiative, EVS fosters a culture of health and well-being — not only among its employees but also within the wider Liège Science Park community.

The journey began at 7:30, and the welcome on arrival was worth the effort: a delicious breakfast prepared by Imma, our fantastic catering partner known for their seasonal and local approach.

A special thank you as well to Kaméo, our partner in soft mobility, for providing bikes and e-bikes throughout the week. Thanks to their support, eight EVS colleagues are now testing sustainable commuting options in their daily routines.

Moments like these go beyond promoting soft mobility — they bring us closer as a team, inspire healthier habits, and strengthen our bonds with the community at Liège Science Park.

Day 3 (already!) at IBC2025 – let’s go!

Yesterday was packed with highlights, but here are just a few:

✨We kicked things off nicely with a press briefing at our stand, where our CEO Serge Van Herck and Jean-Paul Philippot, CEO of RTBF, shared the story behind our new Flexible Control Room solution.

🎤 Our CTO Alex Redfern joined the SMPTE panel “From Classroom to Control Room: Building Careers in Media Technology,” highlighting how we can inspire and support the next generation of talent.

🌍 EVS Head of Innovation Olivier Barnich took part in the very first Media Tech Sustainability Series (MTSS) Sustainability Tour, sharing how EVS is embedding sustainability into product design and development.

🤝 The many positive reactions from customers and partners with the coming together of EVS, Telemetrics Inc., and XD motion, and the opportunities this provides as we expand into media production .

💡 And throughout the day, the buzz was a constant at our solution pods with live demos on replay & highlights, content management, media infrastructure, and officiating solutions, all brought to life by our passionate team.
