An accused if guilty should be bold enough to accept and apologise, a heart that accepts wrong is that of Christ, Christ like heart will never lie to cover up a sin, a Christ like heart will rather accept that shame before men but receive pardon, redemption and forgiveness before God.

That woman that was caught in adultery was guilty, Jesus asked her if she was, she accepted and was justified, Jesus said to her, go and sin no more.

There’s that inner peace you receive when you confess your wrongs and accept that guilt, I have had this experiences few times in the journey of life and believe me when I say, it is better to accept and confess when you are guilty than deny to cover up a sin.
