Over the past few months, I have recorded a new EP in the studio.
Autumn, and especially winter, have always been the best seasons for composing music. Endless cups of coffee and tea, long nights and the tranquillity of winter darkness fuel creativity.
It’s a strange feeling, because it was during this same period that I wrote my first album « Ces êtres oubliés ». Some cycles repeat themselves.
I can’t wait to share these four new songs with you.
No surprises in terms of themes: the oceans, animal ethics, overfishing and our impact on nature are at the heart of this EP.
This time, the challenge was considerable: all the songs are written in major scales, which is quite rare in metal.
You’ll still find my signature sound:
🎹 piano
🎸 heavy guitars
🌊 atmospheric melodies
This EP is like a chapter in which I gave my all. The songs are more mature and accomplished thanks to experience (and the team).
And then... it will be time to move on to a second album 😊 But I’ll save that story for later.
I feel that 2026 is going to be a great year.
