Four years.
We couldn’t begin to explain everything we’ve been through on the backend — and honestly, we don’t need to.
Because we’re focused on what we can control.
We are not clickbait.
We are not cliques.
We are not hatred disguised as words.
We are not here to tear anyone down.
We simply cover women’s sports.
And after four years, our mission has not changed. If anything, our commitment has only grown stronger.
By the end of 2026, Female Athlete News will have invested over $100,000 into women’s sports, while our CEO has taken very little — and at times, no — pay.
That’s not a business decision made for convenience.
That is how much we believe in what we are doing.
We’ve held three PA Field Hockey Senior Cups, providing uniforms and safe, competitive environments for more than 450 athletes, 20 umpires, and 30 coaches.
We’ve also hosted two National Hockey5s Chocolate Cup tournaments, continuing our commitment to creating opportunities, competition and memorable experiences for female athletes.
We’ve produced two professional livestreams, powered by members of our team with experience at the Pennsylvania Cable Network and ESPN+.
And behind every story, every event, every livestream and every investment is something incredibly simple:
We love sports.
And we know our female athletes deserve better.
Female Athlete News turns four — not without its share of challenges. Stalkers. A break-in. Haters.
Four years that were anything but boring.
But none of that gets to define us.
Our mission does.
We believe in the power of community. We believe in showing up. We believe in investing in athletes, creating opportunities, raising standards and giving women’s sports the coverage, respect and platform it deserves.
We will continue to raise the standard — not lower ourselves to the resistance.
To every athlete who has trusted us with her story.
To every coach, umpire, parent and fan who has supported us.
To every sponsor and partner who believed in our vision.
Thank you.
We turn four on Saturday. But we woke up inspired today by and her latest post, which reminds us why we do what we do.
