Modern Art Oxford's groundbreaking summer programme, Boundary Encounters, required a comprehensive visual identity that would revolutionise how visitors engage with contemporary art spaces. Our studio developed a sophisticated yet playful design system that celebrates social learning and artistic dialogue. ✌️

By crafting adaptable design elements that work across multiple touchpoints, we've created a visual framework that not only supports the institution's "breaking boundaries" motto but also facilitates meaningful connections between staff, artists, and visitors, thus supporting MAO's goal of establishing a new paradigm for cultural engagement in the art sector.

"Снощи Пловдивската опера отново ме впечатли – не само с изключителната постановка на „Травиата“ под режисурата на Nina Naydenova , но и с напълно завършения културен продукт, който поставя публиката в центъра и превръща събитието в истински празник за целия град.
В основата, разбира се, е операта с нейното музикално и сценично вълшебство, но вниманието към детайла и преживяването като цяло е това, което го прави "културен продукт".
В горещината на Античния театър бяха осигурени безплатни хартиени ветрила – стилни, функционални и с отпечатана пълната програма на фестивала Opera Open.

🌸 What do you get when you mix flowers, letters, and a city that loves both? Floropopolis!

Plovdiv’s very first flower festival turned the Cyrillic alphabet into living, blooming art. Were there pigeons trying to sabotage us? Yes. Did local cats immediately start chasing them? Also yes. But did we still pull off a garden full of joyful letters, floral carpets, and personalised merch? Absolutely.

🍨 From unapologetically bold identity in red and yellow hues in 2022, to a melty ice-cream and berry-inspired colour palette in 2023, to a stacked scoops of design flavours in 2024, our collaboration with Studio Komplekt for the Melba Design Initiatives Festival has been nothing short of deliciously creative.

With each edition, we have pushed the boundaries of the symposium's visual identity, and we’re honoured to have helped shape the evolving story of Bulgaria’s leading design event. 🌿 Big news! Our Зелената книга на Пловдив (The Green Book of Plovdiv) just earned a spot in the Next Gen Design 2025 competition, and we are super excited about it! As one of the winning works, the book will tour five European design festivals and design weeks, including Belgrade, Amsterdam, Vienna, Barcelona, and Skopje.

This playful little guide is packed with 52 green challenges designed to help Plovdivians rediscover their city through more eco-friendly, mindful adventures. We sketched, wrote, and crafted every page by hand, pouring our hearts into every detail.

At the launch event last October, we were blown away to see people actually using the book. Huge thanks to everyone who participated, swapped plants, played games, and transformed the city center into a true celebration of our favourite urban spaces and the nature that surrounds us.

📮 Postage Stamps as Vehicles of Hope

Exactly one year ago, we completed a project quite close to our hearts—a quartet of postage stamps for the Bulgarian Post, celebrating the movement and its fleet of life-saving vehicles.

From steadfast vans and swift boats to helicopters and aircraft, these stamps symbolise the unwavering commitment to bringing hope and help to those in need. Each design weaves a vehicle into the iconic Red Cross symbol, thus creating a powerful tribute to the heroes who traverse land, sea, and sky to deliver aid.

As we step into 2025, our team reflects on this project with gratitude and celebrates it as a reminder of humanity's boundless compassion. Here's to a new year filled with and .

И тази година имахме удоволствието да си сътрудничим със страхотния екип на при създаването на визуалната идентичност на фестивала. 🎨

Отправна точка на идентичността отново са основните елементи като шрифт, цвят и форма, които плавно се съчетават и развиват, за да срещнат нуждите на всеки елемент от фестивала. Преминавайки от минималистични концепции към динамични комбинации от форми и снимки, визуалното оформление ни позволи да изразим по подходящ начин атмосферата на събитието.

Визуалната система носи в себе си и тънката граница между структурата и свободата – лесна за адаптиране, но същевременно с фестивална разчупеност, която олицетворява духа на разнообразието от дисциплини, материали, профил на лектори и участници. Another year we have the pleasure to collaborate with the great team of in creating the visual identity of the festival. 🎨

Font, color and shape serve as the starting point of the identity, thus allowing us to smoothly combine and develop the visual language to accommodate the needs of each component of the festival. Moving from minimalist concepts to dynamic combinations of shapes and photos, such a visual layout easily expresses the atmosphere of the event.

Moreover, the visual system carries within itself the thin line between structure and freedom - easy to adapt, but at the same time with a festival-like openness that embodies the spirit of the diversity of disciplines, materials, profile of speakers and participants alike. All this is gathered in one different, memorable and… melting feeling! 🍧
