🇧🇬✨ Bulgarian mini lesson!

If you want to say “I need…” in Bulgarian, you’ll say „Трябва ми…“
For example: „Трябва ми чаша кафе“ ☕️ → literally “A cup of coffee IS necessary to me.”

If what you need is plural, the verb changes:
„Трябват ми нови слушалки“ → “I need new headphones/ New headphones ARE necessary to me.” 🎧

💡 The word ми is in the dative case, which shows to whom something is necessary.

Here are all the forms 👇
Трябва ми кафе – I need coffee
Трябва ти почивка – You need a break
Трябва му сън / Трябва ѝ помощ – He/She needs sleep/help
Трябват ни билети – We need tickets
Трябва ви време – You (plural) need time
Трябват им пари – They need money

So remember:
✨ Трябва – for one thing
✨ Трябват – for plural things
✨ + a dative pronoun (ми, ти, му, ѝ, му, ни, ви, им) to show who needs it.
