Verb endings are important in Bulgarian! 🇧🇬✨
If you get them wrong, your conversation partner won’t understand who exactly is performing the action 🤔, and you yourself will also have trouble decoding what Bulgarians are saying 😅. That’s because endings carry at least 50% of the information. They shouldn’t be underestimated ⚠️

I’m fed up / I’ve had enough
2. Омръзна ми
I’m tired of it / I’m bored of it
3. До гуша ми дойде

Did you know that in our desire to write correctly, we sometimes end up being overcorrect and make mistakes exactly where we think we are following a grammatical or spelling rule? This is exactly what happens here. You think you are adding the definite article -TA, but in fact, you are adding it to a form that is already definite (център + the short definite article = центъра).

Don’t learn individual words, learn so-called chunks! Chunks are “language blocks” or ready-made phrases—combinations of words that are used together as a single unit.
