Big challenges like the climate crisis are often overwhelming and hard to grasp – that’s why we need inspiring stories that open realistic paths to a better tomorrow.

With this mission in mind, and together with Handplayed, we launched “Visions for Change” – an initiative to create short, impactful films that reframe the climate conversation in engaging and heartfelt ways. 🧲

Our pilot edition took place in Bulgaria, where a group of rising directors joined an intensive bootcamp. Briefed by climate experts and supported by creative mentors and seasoned producers, they crafted five short films that speak to the heart and imagine brave new futures.

What does climate change look like through the lens of young directors?

To answer this question, we launched “Visions for Change” together with handplayed – an initiative to create short, inspiring films that go beyond facts and figures when introducing people to the climate conversation.

In the pilot edition, a group of rising Bulgarian directors jumped into an intensive bootcamp. After insightful input from climate experts and with the support of creative mentors and experienced producers, they created bold short films that imagine hopeful futures for our planet. 🔮

Today, we present “More Stories. Less Waste” by Raya Rumenova. In her short films (yes, she made two!), Raya transforms unwanted, old items into time travel machines, showing how easy it is to hold on to what matters – while making space for what’s still to come.
