Chaconna Films Chaconna Films aims to playfully push the boundaries of cinema. Chaconna Films is a young production company founded in 2010 by Betina Ip and Ilian Metev.

The name of the company 'Chaconna' is derived from 'chaconne', a musical composition in which the variation of a theme offers a structure for invention. Our first feature-length documentary Sofia's Last Ambulance is currently in post-production. Betina and Ilian are based in Oxford, UK and in Sofia, Bulgaria.
