"Peace should result from more information about each other, not from war," BTA Director General Kiril Valchev said here on Wednesday, addressing a scientific conference on "Cultural Heritage in the Digital Era". The event was organized by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences' Prof. Alexander Fol Institute of Balkan Studies with Centre for Thracology (IB&CTh) and took place at the Academy's Ivan Geshov Hall.

The Council of Ministers approved a draft agreement, which will be signed with investors who have received a certificate under the Investment Promotion Act (IPA) and have requested the application of an incentive measure for the reimbursement of social security and health insurance contributions for employees.

Bulgaria reported a slight decline in sales of new electric cars in 2024, shows data published on Wednesday by Eurostat.
This year, 1,665 new electric cars were registered in Bulgaria, representing a decrease of 5.07% compared to 2023, when 1,754 electric vehicles were sold.

Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov has ordered a very quick analysis, within days, to be followed by an assessment, said GERB Leader Boyko Borissov, in response to a question about whether aircraft should be purchased for firefighting.
