🎉 20 Years of Play, Innovation & Creativity 🎉

Here comes the second video in our anniversary series, celebrating two decades of Gameloft Sofia! 🥳 We’re revisiting the games that shaped our history — and the talented teams who brought them to life. 💡🎮

📅 In March 2007, we hit the gas with our very first racing title: Rayman Kart! Built by a growing team of 75 people, the game launched on J2ME and later reached BlackBerry players worldwide. 🚗💨

Inspired by the kart-racing craze, Rayman Kart let players speed through wacky tracks with fan-favorite heroes and villains — from Rayman and Globox to Razorbeard, Hoodblaster, and even the mischievous Rabbids. 🐇

⚡ Players could unleash red fists, nukes, tornadoes, and fairy blessings to stay ahead of the pack, while dodging lava balls, avalanches, giant whales, and more across wild and imaginative worlds. 🌋❄️🌊

💡 Fun fact: With critics scoring it 74% and ranking it among the top 25 J2ME racing games, Rayman Kart proved that mobile racing could be just as chaotic and fun as its console counterparts — all on early phones with tiny keypads! 📱✨

This is the first video in our anniversary series, celebrating two decades of Gameloft Sofia! 🥳 Over the coming weeks, we’ll share the trailers of all our games - from the very beginning until today - with stories about each title and the amazing teams behind them. 💡🎮

📅 In November 2006, we released our very first original game: Bubble Bash, developed right here in Sofia with a team of 35 talented people.

Originally launched on J2ME, Bubble Bash later went on to reach players across iPod, iPhone, Windows, Windows Mobile, Android, BlackBerry, webOS, and even Freebox, achieving 300+ ports worldwide. 🌍

A fresh take on the Bust-a-Move concept, Bubble Bash mixed tropical vibes 🌴, fun characters, and mechanics like chain reactions, bouncing shots, bomb bubbles, and even birds that could return missed shots. 🦀 With map-based progression, boss levels, collectible items, and even a theme song inspired by “99 Luftballons,” Bubble Bash was far more than a puzzler - it was a world to explore.

💡Fun fact: It scored 80% from critics and became a global hit, remembered as one of the most polished and beloved mobile puzzle games of its time.

From humble beginnings to global impact - this was just the start. 🚀
