Registrations Open for Science Talent Examination
Science International Forum (SIF) Bahrain has announced the dates for the Science Talent Examination, conducted for school students in Bahrain, which is on its 12th year.
The examinations will be held in three phases.
The first phase of the examination will begin on November 8. The second phase will be held in the last week of November and the third phase in the first week of December. Students from classes 6 to 11 will be able to participate in the examination.
Unlike previous years, this year’s Science Talent Examination will be held as the Vidyarthi Vighyan Manthan (VVM)- Sastra Prathibha Contest 2025, the largest science talent examination held in India and the Gulf countries.
Officials said that about 25 lakh students are expected to participate from India this year. They added that about 50,000 students are expected to participate from the Gulf countries alone.
The top 2 students from classes 6 to 11 in the exam will receive the Sastra Pratibha Award.
All the contestants will receive e-certificates.
From this year, the participating and winning students will get special opportunities like participation in the India International Science Festival (IISF), an opportunity to participate in the VVM National Camp held in India, internships in IITs and leading research centers, and study tours to leading scientific institutions like ISRO, CSIR labs, and DRDO through the Shastrayaan program.
Registration to participate in the exam will end on September 30.
