You know your child's heart. I-share mo 'yan!

Pro Tip: Before the meeting, isulat mo ang 3 non-negotiable goals mo para sa anak mo for the school year. 'Yan ang magiging North Star mo during the discussion.

I'm pouring all my secrets on how to be a confident parent-advocate in my new ebook. Tag a fellow parent who needs to hear this!

You are not just a member of the IEP team. You are its most important one.

The IEP team includes teachers, specialists (if available), and admin (school principal/coordinator), but YOU are the expert on your child.

Your input is not just valuable; it's essential.
You know your childs' strengths, struggles outside of school, what motivates them, and what frustrates them. You hold the key to the whole picture.

Pro Tip: Prepare for your IEP meeting like a CEO preparing for a board meeting. Come with notes, questions, and a clear vision for your child's success.

The ebook guide dedicates an entire section to empowering you in meetings—what to bring, what questions to ask, and how to make your voice heard.

DSWD PRESS RELEASE: Persons with non-visible disabilities entitled to benefits, privileges provided by law — DSWD spox

Many persons with disabilities live with conditions that are not visible, but are as real and impactful to their everyday lives. We call on everyone to show more understanding, empathy, and respect to persons with disabilities, including those with non-apparent ones,ā€ Asst. Secretary Irene Dumlao, the DSWD spokesperson, said on Monday (July 7). (AKDL)
