Our hope isn’t based on dreams but on things we’ve seen, people we’ve met and experiences we’ve lived. Every single day, we meet or hear about incredible people who are doing or have done incredible things for Burundi, whether it’s out of love for their country or simply as a means to make a living. It breaks our heart that Burundi is mostly known for its troubles when there are so many stories out there worthy to be told, and which would make the image of our country much much brighter. So we created this page to bring those stories to you! We are just regular Burundian folks with regular lives; but who believe that Burundi is worth far more than the World can see.
257 is the country code of Burundi. To us, the + represents the positive vision and image we seek to convey through this initiative. It is our code for a “positive Burundi”.
