NIGER DELTA STUDENTS UNION GOVERNMENT [NIDSUG] WORLDWIDE
Pursuant to the relevant provisions of the NIDSUG Constitution 2011, particularly section 29 F which empowers me being the Chief Returning Officer to supervise the conduct of election, address all cases of disorder to maintain peace in and out of the election premises and, finally to ANNOUNCE the names of Winners of the election and make formal publication regarding the entire process of the election. However, By the power vested in me as the Chief Returning Officer of the NIDSUG 2025 NATIONAL ELECTION I hereby announce as empowered the following persons who scored the highest valid votes as Winners and returned elected;

‎A Happy, hopeful, and transformative New Year to you all.

‎It is with a profound sense of humility, immense gratitude, and unshakable resolve that I address you today, not just as your newly elected National President, but as a fellow student, a comrade in the struggle, and a believer in our collective destiny. I stand on the shoulders of giants who have led this great Union before me, and I am deeply mindful of the trust you have bestowed upon me. I accept this mandate with solemn responsibility.

‎As we stand at the dawn of 2026, we are not merely turning a page on a calendar; we are authoring a new chapter in the story of the Niger Delta student. This past year has been a tapestry of challenges and triumphs. We have navigated the complexities of academic life, often against a backdrop of socioeconomic uncertainties. We have felt the weight of our region's unique paradox blessed with immense wealth, yet yearning for equitable development; rich in culture and intellect, yet facing systemic hurdles.

COMMUNIQUÉ ON THE NIGER DELTA STUDENTS UNION GOVERNMENT CONVENTION
ON 1ST & 2ND DECEMBER, 2025 – EDO STATE

The Convention Planning Committee (CPC) of the Niger Delta Students Convention wishes to formally notify all stakeholders and delegates of the forthcoming convention scheduled to hold on the 1st and 2nd of December, 2025, in Edo State.

Monday 1st December 2025 – Arrival and Registration.

The Committee acknowledges that this communiqué is coming at a later date than expected. This was deliberate, as the CPC deemed it necessary to ensure that all key arrangements, logistics, and organizational structures were properly coordinated before making an official announcement. Our priority has been to guarantee a smooth, impactful, and well-organized convention for all participants.

We sincerely appreciate the contributions, encouragement, and support from individuals, student leaders, across the region. Your collective efforts have strengthened the planning process and reinforced our commitment to delivering a successful and meaningful convention.

The CPC warmly welcomes all delegates from the nine Niger Delta states—Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo, and Rivers—to Edo State. We look forward to fruitful deliberations, renewed collaborations, and FREE AND FAIR ELECTION that will advance the interests and development of Students In Niger Delta region.
