BODY RECOVERED IN OCEAN NEAR DUCKING STOOL PARK

BPS on social media:

"Shortly after 7:00 a.m. today, Saturday, October 4, 2025, police were alerted to a body floating in the water off Ducking Stool Park, Pembroke.

"Police Officers along with members of the Royal Bermuda Regiment Coast Guard (RBRCG) were in the area engaged in a search of the coastline and attended the location where the body was found.

"The body was recovered and identified as that of the male who was reported missing when he did not resurface after entering water in that area, shortly before 5:00 p.m. yesterday, Friday, October 3, 2025.

"The body was subsequently transported aboard an RBRCG vessel to Albuoy’s Point. An on-call Doctor attended and certified death shortly thereafter.

"An autopsy is anticipated.

"No further information will be provided at this time."
