🌡 ABOUT ME 🌡

I was born and raised on the island of Bermuda (which is where I currently live). I fell in love with online fitness when I first discovered Sean Vigue's YouTube channel back in 2015. I started incorporating pilates into my personal workout routine and saw such amazing results that I decided to go all the way and become an instructor. In mid-2016 I received my IFPA certification and set my sights on creating my own YouTube channel. I love the challenge of being a one-person production team- putting everything together on my own, from planning workouts to filming to editing, launching and promoting. The creative process has allowed me to combine my technical background as a freelance web & graphic designer with my love for fitness. Thanks so much for checking out my page! I hope you have a great day. 🌡

I got this message recently:

β€œI can see you’ve been doing sport for most of your life.”

And it really could not be further from the truth!

I’ve certainly taken a winding route to get to where I am today.

Finding inspiration online played such a big part in this journey.

Which is why I’m so passionate about sharing my love for movement.

If I can inspire just one other person, then I will be happy ❀️

You can start working on your balance without even standing up πŸ‘€

The muscles in your feet support your arches, distribute your weight & make tiny adjustments as you navigate the world.

But weak foot muscles make it harder to balance on one leg or walk on uneven ground.

That’s where towel scrunches come in! πŸ‘£

This exercise targets the intrinsic muscles that curl your toes, building essential strength & coordination from the ground up.

How to do it:
1️⃣ Place a towel flat on the floor.
2️⃣ Using your toes, gather the towel & scrunch it toward you.
3️⃣ Keep your heels firmly on the ground the whole time!

It’s definitely harder than it looks! πŸ₯΅

πŸ‘‹ Ready to wake up your feet? Try this follow along 10 minute seated routine to rebuild strength & better balance from the ground up:

Have you ever actually tested your swim speed?

Yeah, me neither, until the first critical swim speed test I did back on July 30, 2026.

Unfortunately, the pool was closed that week, so I did the test outside in the ocean.

To be honest, neither my watch nor I really knew how far I swam 😬

So, throwing those results out the window...

I decided to retest my critical swim speed in the pool, properly this time!

πŸ“‹ Sept 22, 2026 Results:
200m - 3:48
400m - 7:59
CSS - 2:06

πŸ“‹ July 30, 2026 Results:
200m - 4:25
400m - 9:00
CSS - 2:18

Not really fair to compare against the July 30th results, but if you take those with a grain of salt, I can confidently say that I am (somewhat) faster! πŸ˜„

Looking forward to retesting again in a few months before my sprint triathlon to see how far I've come!

If you work at a desk, your neck is paying the price.

Hours of peering intently at your screen locks your neck in one place, deprived of:

😞 rotation
😞 flexion & extension
😞 lateral movement

And I'm sure you've felt the consequences of that lack of movement...

Stiffness
Aches & pains
Even tension headaches!

Save this mini routine to keep your neck moving well:

β€’ yes motions β†’ flexion & extension
β€’ no motions β†’ rotation
β€’ maybe motions β†’ lateral movement
β€’ chin tucks β†’ posture & deep neck flexors
β€’ neck rolls β†’ gentle mobility (also, feels great)

Just 5 of each can make a huge difference in how your neck feels by the end of the day.

πŸ‘‹ Have 6 minutes? Comment DESK & I'll send you a follow along neck & shoulder stretch you can do right in your chair.

πŸ’Œ Send this to someone who works at a desk.

"Thanks, I won't".

That's actually how I used to respond when someone would say, "have a good run!"

Because I used to dread it!

I used to think running (and exercising in general) was something unavoidably unpleasant that I HAD to do.

It wasn't until I was unable to run due to injuries that I realized how backward my mindset was.

Of course, I wish I'd figured this out 15 years ago.

But more importantly, I use this learning to push me through harder sessions like today.

Because while I'm able, I'm going to give it all I can 😊

Let me know if you can relate ❀️

Can BOTH ankles do this? πŸ‘€

Try the test on each side. I bet you are surprised by the difference!

Keep your heel planted & try to touch the wall with your knee.

If this video made you realize you need to work on your ankle mobility - I've got you covered!

πŸ‘‡ Save this 10 min seated foot & ankle mobility routine for tonight:
https://f.mtr.cool/bfelsy8bf7

It’s all done in a chair. Just press play & follow along 😊

Save this test so you can check back on your progress.

Your hands work hard all day.

Typing. Scrolling. Gripping a mouse. Driving. Cooking.

Yet they’re often one of the body parts we neglect the most.

So if you've been working nonstop today, give your hands, wrists & fingers 3 minutes of movement with me.

No equipment. You can do this seated or standing.

We'll release your hands from restriction so they stay limber & pain-free.

πŸ‘‹ If this felt good & you have time for a little more, try this 6 min hand & wrist mobility routine:

πŸ“Œ Save this for your next work break & share it with someone whose hands could use a little attention.

Happy Sunday, my friends!

Well, I have had quite a week. Not only did I change my first flat tire on my bike & wear clipless shoes for the first time, but I also signed up for a half Ironman in Oceanside, California, next April!! πŸ˜‚ I know. Slightly crazy. You can watch me break out into a nervous sweat as I register for the race:

https://f.mtr.cool/w5aj5ribub

It just goes to show that if you allow yourself to be a beginner & try something new, it might end up changing the course of your life!!

Pics from this past week...

(1) feeling good after my longest bike ride ever + playing with open leg handstands
(2) my 4 hour tire changing adventure
(3) playing with new swim paddles & clip in shoes
(4) my sweet pi
(5) heading out for my longest ride ever (nervous sweat)

Playlists have been refreshed with new videos to choose from this week:

If you read this far, please let me know if you ever look at the weekly playlists. I am wondering if there is a way I can make them more helpful for you, so if you have any ideas, please drop me a comment ❀️

Thank you so much for being here & I hope you have a great week!
