📍 CAEXPO is a strategic platform for Brunei, with its location in Nanning, Guangxi – the closest Chinese province to the Sultanate at just a 3.5-hour flight.
Often described as ASEAN’s gateway to China, Guangxi established the Brunei–Guangxi Economic Corridor in 2014 as a platform to increase cooperation.
Through this framework, partnerships such as Muara Port Company – a joint venture between China’s Beibu and Brunei’s Darussalam Assets – have become integral to boosting connectivity and trade between Brunei and China.
