They don’t call Mr. Wilson “The Mayor of Boontown” for nothing! Deer camp holds a special place in our hearts, and memories from days like today will be cherished for the rest of our lives. At 92 years old, Mr. Wilson harvested his largest buck to date, with his son, Jake, by his side. This incredible buck marks his fifth Boone and Crockett buck in the last 30 years.

Team members and were able to get it done this week on this ancient buck named “Pincher”. With Warren over his shoulder, Wil was presented a shot at 15 yards and kept him with 40 yards. Making this his largest compound buck to date, and oldest deer he’d ever harvest at 8.5 years old 141”

Yesterday morning finally ended the 3 year pursuit he had of the buck we called Ozzy. John had a lot of history of this deer, and yesterday morning he was able to capitalize on a 44 yard opportunity with the Lift, watching Ozzy go down in sight. There is a lot of story to go with this deer, and we look forward to telling it in the future. For now, it’s enough just to take in the 7 1/2 year old buck who taught us so many lessons.
