The subject chosen for volume 4 is the theme parks that say a lot about US history in movies and books that we know in different genres. The collection, which is now the most successful on Bandcamp for Ambient Folk Music, reaches the sixth item, which is based on mysterious and frightening folklore from the state of Maine, USA, where there is a strong Noise/Industrial scene. Be sure to read liner notes wisely written by our dear Chris Phinney, who spends hours on end researching the cryptic beings of American culture and transposes this far-fetched knowledge into his music. Mental Anguish departs on this album for a slightly different sound than the previous albums, with more spaces between the drones arranged in the timeline and also a little more steam in the timbre of the synthesizers, increasing the suspense in the sound tracks that perfectly could have been filmed one day.
