Can we stop pretending gold gowns automatically look “luxurious” just because they sparkle? 👗✨💦

Because one of these looks truly regal, one feels like the safe crowd-pleaser, one is trying VERY hard to be the snatched glamorous option, and one is the dress people pick when they want compliments from everybody in the room. Everybody loves saying pale blue is always classy, but sometimes “classy” is just code for boring with better lighting 👀🩵

One of these looks polished, one is predictable, one is trying very hard to be the flattering one, and one is going to win votes just because it feels the least risky. Pretty color aside, they are definitely not all giving the same thing. 💦

My brother is getting married this fall. I’ve finally found the perfect dress for myself, but we’re narrowed down to two options for my mom. Family and friends are split almost evenly on which one they like better.

Can we be honest for one second? Just because a dress has gold lace on black fabric does not automatically make it classy 👗🖤✨

One of these looks elegant and expensive, one looks like it’s trying way too hard to be “regal,” one feels like the safe choice people pick when they don’t want any criticism, and one is giving rich auntie at the gala in the best possible way. My last post had a lot of people saying that the bride’s grandmother shouldn’t wear anything close to white. So we made some changes. She decided to explore other dress colors, but now she’s a little confused. Let’s help her choose the perfect dress! 💫👗🎊

Help! My husband and i are getting married and I need to look normal. i cant wear white so please dont judge. i feel too shy and fat to wear white (and with black as well but a 1% better than white) but can't decide, worried about photos.

Having such trouble with silhouette and deciding how comfortable I am with a more form fitting option. I've lost a lot of weight and I'm proud of myself for that, but look at photos and still don't love how I look in them. I heard many mixed opinions when I shared this in the Sewing community on the Tedooo app (where I'm planning to order handmade jewelry to go with my dress!). I'm worried if I pick the form fitting option #1, I'll hate my photos (don't feel self conscious in it, just how I look in images).
