Video 360 and VR are a new artistic medium, as explore CARTAS A LUMIERE directed by Fabiano Mixo. VR SOUND BRASIL has recorded the sounds in 360 using our Ambisonics Tetramic.
CARTAS A LUMIERE is a panoramic video instalation, with a future version for VR headset, that explore first film of the Lumière brothers at the emerging time of VR and 360 cinema
Shooted at the Central do Brasil railway station in Rio de Janeiro, with the Odyssey camera of Panograma.

#003 sound ambisonics
Among the many services that offers vr sound Brasil, we offer from October 2016 a sound ("Sound Library") registered natively in ambisonics thanks to our best equipment (TETRAMIC AND SOUDNFIELD SPS 200).
We are mainly focused on the areas (and especially Brazilian and urban) because the sound effects are, in cinema, mainly sounds monos spatialized during the mixing.
Of course, our sound is aimed at projects in VR and the videos 360 but not only. In the context of a project in 5.1 or 7.1, our sons in ambisonics can be decoded in the format of the project, thereby providing native ambiances surround. You can do this by using the FREE PLUGIN SURROUNDZONE 2 or the fantastic plugin harpex b.
All of our sounds are engraved in a format very conservative (24-bit, 96 Khz) and archived in b-format. So we can deliver the sounds in all existing format, from a source in the best possible quality.
Also we are developing a database compatible with soundminer to facilitate the professional research.
Our team can also record of specific sounds "at the request", exclusive or not, for all your projects.

BEYOND THE MAP
Etienne Chambolle, of VR SOUND is proud to have made a part of the audio 360 of the project BEYOND THE MAP.
The project aims to show the little-known side of Rio’s favelas, these informal communities, home to 1.4 million Cariocas. "Slums are not simply a place, they are a community, and to understand them, you need to enter and see it for yourself," says the video as an introduction to the project offering a real immersion in this reality.
Beyond 360 sound recording on set, he has also made the audio post-production of 360 elements, and participate of sound recording in the “classical” documentary sequences.

#004 Facebook broadcasts finally the videos 360 with a 360. Audio
Facebook, owner of oculus is a major player in the universe vr and 360. Today, all the videos 360 will broadcast a its 360 (this possibility, appeared in September was, until today, reserved to Specific projects chosen by Facebook).
