🚨BREAKING: Antifa ringleader Benjamin Song has been sentenced to 100 years in prison for his role in the July 4th terrorist attack on the Prairieland ICE detention center in Alvarado, Texas.

Trump may have succeeded in getting CBS’ billionaire owner, Larry Ellison, to cancel the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, but it’s the beloved comedian and activist Colbert who will be getting the last laugh.
During last night's Emmy awards show, “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” won Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series, beating out “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
The program’s digital companion series, “Colbert Before Air,” also picked up a trophy in an upset, winning Outstanding Short Form Comedy, Drama or Variety Series.
That makes two more trophies for Colbert – and ZERO for Donald Trump, whose old show “the Apprentice” never won a single Emmy.
In fact, his show’s failure to ever win an award was Trump’s first election-denial conspiracy. “The Apprentice” lost over and over again to “The Amazing Race,” prompting Trump to accuse the Emmys of being rigged and having no credibility.
‘“Amazing Race’ winning an Emmy again is a total joke. The Emmys have no credibility--no wonder the ratings are at record lows!” tweeted Trump in 2012. “The Emmys are all politics, that's why, despite nominations, The Apprentice never won--even though it should have many times over.”
So you just know that Stephen Colbert’s Emmy wins are going to really bother him. Just another reminder that Trump is a perennial failure and spends his life tormented by the shadow of his betters.

Michelle Luchau-Rebora, 32, was arrested in Florida after allegedly having a se*ual relationship with a 42-year-old patient at New Hope C.O.R.P.S., where he was receiving addiction and behavioral health treatment. Court records say the alleged relationship lasted from June through September 2025 and included encounters during therapy sessions and facilitated leaves from the restricted facility. During her bond hearing, a judge set bond at $5,000 and issued a no-contact order with the alleged victim.

With Karmelo Anthony now beginning a 35-year prison sentence for the fatal stabbing of Austin Metcalf, attention is shifting to a new question: what happens next?

Under current sentencing rules, Anthony could become eligible for parole after serving approximately half of his sentence. However, parole eligibility does not guarantee release. Any future decision would depend on factors such as institutional behavior, disciplinary record, rehabilitation efforts, educational achievements, and the judgment of a parole board years down the road.

The jury’s 35-year sentence has already sparked intense public debate. Some believe the punishment was fair and provides an opportunity for rehabilitation, while others argue that the loss of a young life warrants no possibility of early release.

For Austin Metcalf’s family and supporters, the focus remains on the 17-year-old whose future was permanently taken away. While Anthony may one day have the opportunity to seek parole, Austin will never have the chance to graduate, pursue a career, or build a family of his own.
