SEARCH CONTINUES: U.S. Coast Guard personnel, the Royal Bahamas Police Force, and the Royal Bahamas Defence Force were observed in the area of Abaco Inn on Thursday as efforts continue to locate missing Michigan woman Lynette Ho**er.
The location is significant, as it was one of the last places Lynette and her husband, Brian Ho**er, reportedly visited before her disappearance on April 4. Brian Ho**er told authorities that Lynette fell from their dinghy while they were traveling back to their yacht that evening. Her body has never been recovered.
Officials were also seen with a K-9 search dog as the operation continued both on land and on the water.

HOPE TOWN, ABACO - Early Thursday morning US Coast Guard and Bahamian officials continue the search for an American woman missing since April.

Lynette Ho**er, 55, disappeared April 4, and her husband, Brian Ho**er, told authorities that she fell from a boat.

Ho**er’s husband was initially taken into custody following her April 4 disappearance, however, he was released and no charges have been filed.

POLICE CONFISCATE DANGEROUS DRUGS

On Wednesday, 3rd June 2026, officers assigned to the Drug Enforcement Unit, assisted by officers from the Anti-Gang & Fi****ms Investigation Task Force, seized a quantity of suspected hydroponic ma*****na.

According to the initial report, shortly before 11:00 a.m., officers acting on intelligence conducted a search in a bushy area situated at the rear of Allenbrook Lane where they discovered a white bucket containing clear vacuum packages of suspected hydroponic ma*****na.

The exhibits were confiscated and transported to the Drug Enforcement Unit for further investigation.

The weight of the drugs is 4.1lbs with an estimated street value of $8,200.

HAPPENING NOW: ZNS News team is west of Hope Town in the Lubbers Quarters area, where officials from the U.S. Coast Guard, Royal Bahamas Defence Force, and Royal Bahamas Police Force are conducting search operations at sea.

Authorities have returned to Abaco nearly two months after Michigan resident Lynette Ho**er was reported missing by her husband, Brian Ho**er.

Investigators are now focusing on new areas of the water following reported inconsistencies in Brian Ho**er's initial account. Officials have indicated that GPS data recovered from a device did not align with portions of the timeline previously provided to investigators.
