It is regrettable, but understandable, that we won’t be able to gather in person for at least a few more weeks. Until then, the elders of St. Andrew’s Kirk are committed to keeping you informed and up-to-date with our ministry activities. Here are some key events and links to note:
1) Good Friday Reflections from Pastor Bryn
Using Facebook Live and YouTube Live, tomorrow at 10:30am, Pastor Bryn will live stream some reflections on the crucifixion of Christ, looking at Mark 15 from his home study.
The YouTube link is https://youtu.be/XTmrbLVuFjI but we encourage you to subscribe to the channel by going to https://www.youtube.com/user/bryn31 and hitting the “Subscribe” button
2) Easter Sunday Livestream from The Kirk Sanctuary!
The Commissioner of Police gave us an exemption letter allowing our small team to deliver a live worship service from the Kirk on Sunday morning at 10:30am. We will stream from our website http://www.standrewskirk.com/livestream.htm and Facebook Live.
3) Our Food Bank Ministry
We have had to adjust our practices around our distribution of groceries, but this ministry continues. Prior to our current lock down, approximately 20 families received groceries from the Kirk this week. We recently received two large donations for this ministry, which will put the Food Bank in good shape for months to come. Thank you!
4) Operating Expenses & Online Giving
We emerged from the month of March in good financial standing, but it remains unclear how this current COVID-19 crisis will affect the Kirk’s financial health. Please consider providing ongoing support for the Kirk’s ministries through online giving opportunities: http://www.standrewskirk.com/give.htm
