A quick & scattered reminder from my therapy session for anyone else who feels the constant urge to overprep. I realized how much pressure I carry from past experiences to always have the answer ready before a question is even typed out.

The work now is learning to put things down and walk away. I am learning to trust that the goodness of a rich idea comes with time. We do not have to compete with how fast the world expects us to move. Proverbs 19:2 reminds me that Desire without knowledge is not good, how much more will hasty feet miss the way..

So, I’m trying to slow my fast feet down and be more present. 🧘🏽‍♀️

I’ve been on the prowl for a new office chair, specifically with ergonomic support for my back and posture. Coming across this color chair from a mom whose college student didn’t want anymore. Never used, barely open.

I’m not sure if I’ve been getting lucky or my algorithm a little too specific, but the deals I been getting on Facebook Marketplace have been insane. Currently 4/4.

happy Father’s Day to the best da da in da worlllllld. The work you put in to keep our unit happy and prospering doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for allowing me to be, in whatever that requires of me in that moment. Thank you for showing our Zo how a man should treat his woman. And most importantly, thank you for continuing to be you, wholeheartedly.

I am who I am because you helped me become. And the life we brought into this world, having the both of us behind her, will be seen in how she shines.
