I’m finally doing it—I’m stepping aboard Holland America Line for the very first time! 🥂✨

I’ve spent years hearing about the "Holland America difference," and I’m beyond excited to finally experience it firsthand on this 7-day Western Caribbean journey.

While many cruise lines are going bigger and louder, I’m looking forward to a more refined, mid-sized ship experience where the focus is on service, space, and a touch of timeless elegance. Here is what I’m most looking forward to discovering:

🎶 The Legendary Music Walk: I can’t wait to skip the typical production shows and instead hop between world-class venues. From the soul of B.B. King’s Blues Club to the intimacy of Lincoln Center Stage, it sounds like a music lover’s dream.
🍽️ A True Culinary Journey: I’ve heard so much about their Culinary Council. I’m ready to taste the difference—from the fresh flavors at Morimoto by Sea to the classic, sophisticated atmosphere of the Pinnacle Grill.
🌅 The "Perfect" Ship Size: I’m ready for those wide-open teak decks and the Crow’s Nest—a panoramic lounge that I’m told is the absolute best spot on the ship to watch the horizon with a cocktail in hand.

Of course, the views outside the ship are just as spectacular as the life onboard. We’ll be stopping at:
🏝️ Half Moon Cay: Their award-winning private island (voted the best in the Bahamas year after year).
🇯🇲 Ocho Rios: For that lush, tropical Jamaican rhythm.
