Who is this Arthur guy???If you've been watching the weather along the Gulf Coast recently, you might be wondering exactly that!
Tropical Storm Arthur was the first named storm of the 2026 Atlantic hurricane season.
While he only held onto his tropical storm status for a short time before moving inland over Texas, his remnants are still packing a massive, dangerous punch. We aren't just dealing with a little rain. Arthur is unleashing a massive shield of tropical moisture, triggering life-threatening flash flooding from Texas all the way to the Florida Panhandle. As if that wasn't enough, the swirling system is also spinning up severe thunderstorms and active tornado warnings across the Deep South. If you are in Arthur’s path, please take this seriously:Never drive through flooded roads (Turn around, don't drown!).Keep your phone charged with emergency weather alerts turned on loud.Have a safe interior room ready in case of a tornado warning.Stay safe and dry out there!
