His Royal Highness The Gyalsey inaugurated the Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck Super FabLab (SFL) at the TechPark in Thimphu, and the FabLab network in Bhutan.

The FabLab network consists of three additional FabLabs located at Druk Gyalpo’s Institute in Pangbisa, Paro, Jigme Wangchuck Power Training Institute (JWPTI) in Gelephu and the Bio FabLab at the College of Natural Resources (CNR) in Lobeysa.

The SFL and FabLab network in Bhutan were established as part of a series of initiatives in line with the Royal Vision to build platforms that will foster a culture of innovation and creativity.

Heard the land per decimal in Babesa area has touched more than Nu 2.4 million. What is driving the price of land even when the economy is freaking slow?

Bhutanese in Australia, are you guys the reason for the soaring land prices in Bhutan?

I feel buying a minimum of 10 decimal would cost Nu 2.4 Crore can get you a much higher return investment elsewhere than in Bhutan. Try buying real estate in Bangkok or even in India. Your return on investment will be much faster there than in Bhutan.

Maybe I am poor that I am shocked to hear people spending 2.4 crores on a mere 4300 sqft land.

SIGNIFICANCE OF ZHABDRUNG KUCHOE

Bhutan went through the most extraordinary era under the leadership of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal unfolding what we call the history in the making.

Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal was born at Ralung Monastery, Tibet as the son of the Drukpa lineage-holder Mipham Tenpai Nyima and Sönam Pelgyi Butri in 1594.

He was recognized as the reincarnation of the great Drukpa scholar Pema Karpo (1527-1592) - himself the incarnation of Tsangpa Gyare Yeshe Dorje (1161-1211), the founder of the Drukpa Kagyupa.

As prophesized, Zhabdrung came to Bhutan in 1616 with the invitation from the Obtsho Lama of Gasa seeing the unfavourable situation in Tibet during that time.

Upon arrival, the controlling Drukpa families of the west, who revered him as the true Drukpa hierarch, welcomed him.

Thus, it began the long and complex process of western and subsequently national unification.

He united the Drukpa families under his authority, traveled extensively in western Bhutan increasing prestige and political influence.

By the time of his death in 1651 the Zhabdrung, an honorific title meaning "at whose feet one submits", had unified western Bhutan, vanquished competing religious schools and fought off five Tibetan invasions.

At the age of 58, Zhabdrung entered meditation in 1651 and instructed that he can be visited only by Desi Tenzin Drukgyal and Dung Damchoe.

His death was not announced for 25 years and believed that he was still under meditation.

Shabdrung’s death anniversary was observed since then every year on the 10th day of the third Bhutanese month.

We the Bhutanese either Buddhists ,Hindus or Christians must pay This Great man homage as a man who unified Bhutan since we are first BHUTANESE.

Let us have face to face session. No beating round the bush and excuses. Just facts!! Tired bearing the brunt of lockdown caused by negligence and carelessness from the covid management. The public is blamed for every negligence from covid management team.

Did we Cordon off the wrong building and let the virus spread in the capital?

Did we let a citizen die in a cold hotel room?

Did we bring in foreign workers and exposed our own countrymen?

Okay, lockdown is needed. Agreed partially on that but how long?

Do you expect the daily bread earners to come to the parliament entrance and beg there or should people visit the Lyonpo colony?

What is your team doing to help those who lost their jobs? Who aren't paid and who can't pay their employees? Simply announcing molhr skilling program is not enough while the surrounding to implement those skills isn't reachable.

What is your plan to revive the economy? Or are you planning to give a gift of public debt for another few generations?

We appreciate the philosophy of life over livelihood. But have you any idea of how many people are suffering? Don't say kidu! You should be ashamed to tell this. If it wasn't for the sympathy and fatherly love of our beloved king, many people would been on the road by now. What is the government doing? Simply announcing lockdown?

Prior to lockdown, thousands of people used to visit the National referral hospital. And now we don't see that. Has people stopped to suffer? No! There is no access to such facilities and this has simply made people suffer.

And who suffers? Not the elites, not the ones who reside in urban areas, not the ones who has connection. But our fellow and innocent farmers, people who can't reach to this services. Don't say every village has access to BHU's, there is only BHU and not the service and treatment people need. They are suffering silently because they can't speak out.

Thimphu isn't high risk with large community cases but southern part is always high risk even without any cases at time?

This doesn't end. Because when the public who voted the party to power have suggestions and humble plea,it isn't in your blood to accept and listen atleast. If there is criticism,you don't accept rather warn people.

If public breach protocol, they are instantly behind bars but when there is negligence and carelessness from the management, there is always excuses?

In the last two years, we simply didn't lose livelihood but humanity as well.

We appreciate the efforts, we supported every moves but everything has limit. If lockdown was the only solution,from where is the covid case still on the rise after months of lockdown? For this public is blamed but loopholes in management is never accepted.

Public has been a football,no matter who comes,just kicks and move on.

Six schools in containment in Sarpang record 431 cases

Forty-five staff and 386 students in six schools across Sarpang tested positive for COVOD-19 today. They were all in containment for the recent board exams.

There were 14 schools in containment. However, all students from schools with no cases were sent home. According to sources, all cases will be managed inside the schools.
