Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC) in Bhutan has become one of the first regions to include digital assets like Bitcoin, Ether, and BNB in its strategic reserves. This move aims to strengthen GMC’s economic resilience and support its growing blockchain initiatives. The decision follows the enactment of new laws that establish a regulatory framework for digital asset services. GMC’s emphasis on innovation and secure blockchain adoption highlights its commitment to becoming a leader in the digital asset ecosystem. In March 2025, GMC will host a global meeting to further explore this pioneering approach.
