First time trying Khasi food 🇮🇳

I got told that where I went was a good place to try great food.

While most of it was very nice there was one thing on the plate I could not enjoy.

That was the fermented soybeans! Would not be reaching for that again 🤣

So how does it work?

So the game is called teer and it is a traditional archery-based betting game in Meghalaya, where people bet on the number of arrows that hit a target.

I had never heard of anything like this before so was very intrigued to give it a go!

⚠️be very careful when it comes to games like this. Addiction is a real think so play at your own risk!⚠️

Safe to say I was down to try anything including edible clay 🤣
Apparently this is a common pregnancy craving which was interesting to know.

I don’t think it is a snack I would personally reach for but it was interesting to try!

My first ever time in Shillong 🥹

I heard so much about Shillong so it definitely felt amazing to finally be there. But what made it more special was my welcome to the city 🙌🏼

I truly loved my time at and definitely was needed after several long travel days!😅
