30-8-2025: Nganglam Dungkhag Administration, in collaboration with Desuups, officials from regional offices, and the Royal Bhutan Police, carried out bush clearing activities at the Integrated Check Post in Pelzomthang.

The initiative aims to enhance the aesthetic appeal and overall environment of the area, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming space for all.

The Dungkhag Administration conveys our appreciation to the Desuups, regional office officials, and the Royal Bhutan Police for your invaluable support and active participation in this initiative.

27-8-2025: The Nganglam Dungkhag Administration convened a coordination meeting with all regional heads to strengthen collaboration, cooperation, and coordination among agencies and to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of public service delivery.

Following the meeting, participants visited Telung, the venue for the upcoming Bathing Carnival Bhutan, scheduled for September 22–24, 2025. The familiarization visit was organized to orient officials to the event site and to highlight the importance of collective responsibility, active participation, and shared ownership in ensuring the success of the event.

22-8-2025: Nganglam Dungkhag Administration convened its First Coordination Meeting for FY 2025–2026, bringing together officials from three Gewogs and principals of seven schools under Nganglam Dungkhag. The meeting focused on strengthening the 3 Cs (coordination, collaboration, and cooperation) and enhancing service delivery across the Dungkhag.

21-8-2025: The newly constructed 3.8 km chainlink fencing at Babudhar under Chokhorling Gewog was inaugurated today.

The project, implemented by the Chokhorling Gewog Administration at a cost of Nu. 4.8 million under PTA, was supported by the Pema Gatshel Dzongkhag Administration and Nganglam Dungkhag Administration. The fencing secures 114.8 acres of farmland belonging to 107 households of Chokhorling Gewog.

This initiative is expected to significantly enhance agricultural productivity by reducing human–wildlife conflict, protecting crops, and thereby strengthening food security and improving the livelihoods of farmers.

20-8-2025: The newly established Cotton Production Service Centre at Durungri under Dungmin Gewog was inaugurated today in the presence of Dasho Drungpa of Nganglam Dungkhag, marking a significant step in supporting the local farmers’ group engaged in cotton production and strengthening rural livelihoods.

The project, supported by the Royal Textile Academy of Bhutan with Nu. 1.79 million, was implemented by the Dungmin Gewog Administration with support from the Pema Gatshel Dzongkhag Administration. The centre will provide the group with a dedicated facility for cotton processing, value addition, and production services.

This initiative is expected to promote traditional textile practices, enhance livelihood opportunities, and empower farmers through sustainable income generation.

8-8-2025: The Nganglam Dungkhag Administration formally welcomed 20 new recruits and celebrated the promotion of 12 officials. The proceedings commenced with a traditional Tashi Khadhar ceremony, symbolizing an auspicious commencement and duly recognizing the dedication and accomplishments of the promoted officials.

The promoted officials were exhorted to execute their responsibilities with renewed dedication, unwavering integrity, and exemplary professionalism. The new recruits were formally inducted into Team Nganglam, united by a shared commitment to professional excellence and meaningful contribution within their respective roles.
