The Bhutan Esports Association (BeSA) has officially been recognized as a member of the Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC). This historic moment affirms the growing global significance of electronic sports in the world of competitive athletics.

Today, esports brings together over 500 million fans worldwide, with major tournaments attracting audiences that rival — and sometimes surpass — traditional sports events. Esports is now included in international multi-sport competitions such as the Asian Games, and is steadily shaping the future of youth engagement and sporting excellence.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to His Royal Highness Dasho Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck, Honorable President of the Bhutan Olympic Committee, for his visionary support and guidance in taking Bhutanese esports athletes to the next level.
