𝐀 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐬𝐞 🙏🏻❤️
Upon reaching Trashi Yangtse, i explored the town and visited the ancient and sacred Chorten Kora, capturing my solo pilgrimage journey along the way.
After posting the journey on TikTok, a random young follower messaged me inviting me to visit Brew Cafe. The next morning, while i was heading towards Dechen Phodrang Nye to visit the sacred sites of Guru Rinpoche, i saw his message again. Such a warm and genuine gesture touched my heart so i promised i would return after my pilgrimage.
After visiting the sacred places of Dechen Phodrang, i drove back through the muddy roads and forests to Trashi Yangtse. I was warmly welcomed by the café’s head and the very young brother who had reached out to me.
A fresh iced latte, delicious Bhutanese food and heartfelt hospitality made the visit truly special✨❤️
What touched me even more was discovering that Enlight Brew Café is run alongside Cora Art Studio where talented local youths are given a space to learn, create, display and sell their beautiful artwork. The man behind the café is not only a chef but also a mentor, teacher and leader nurturing young talents in this small town.
Sometimes, the most beautiful moments of a journey are not the places we plan to visit but the kindness of people we never expected to meet.
