RTC Women’s FC concluded their AFC Women’s Champions League preliminary stage on a high note, showcasing remarkable resilience and determination against some of Asia’s strongest teams, despite not advancing to the next round. The Ladies in Blue earned praise for their spirited performances throughout the competition.

In their final match against host team Laos 🇱🇦 Master FC, three Bhutanese players found the back of the net, marking a historic achievement. Pema Choden Tshering scored a brace, while Sonam Choden and Deki Lhazom each added a goal, becoming three of the first Bhutanese women to score at this stage of the tournament.

A Race Against Time: Help Kinga Live Again

Mr. Kinga Wangchuk, 41 years old from Mongar, his health deteriorated due to his second kidney failure, and he was advised to undergo a kidney transplant. The Foundation has been facilitating his fundraising upon knowing his genuineness as his medical and other social expenses won’t be eligible as per the referral policy of the government.

Since the Department of Law and Order, Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA), has granted an approval to raise funds amounting to Nu. 1,500,000/- (One Million Five Hundred Thousand Ngultrum), the Foundation has opened up in the public domain for the fund mobilization.

All contributions donated in the approved Bank of Bhutan (BoB) account number 226024210 will be monitored by the Department of Law and Order to ensure accountability and transparency.

Let us all come together to save Mr. Kinga Wangchuk’s precious life.
