The 171st-ranked Bhutan🇧🇹 Women’s National Team continues their impressive campaign with a 2-1 win over 130th-ranked Lebanon🇱🇧 in their second group match. Earlier, Bhutan🇧🇹 had secured a victory against Singapore🇸🇬, making it two wins out of two.

With 6 points from 2 games, Bhutan🇧🇹 now sits at the top of Group 'A' and edges closer to a historic qualification.

Bhutan’s national women’s football team made a promising start to their AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers campaign with a thrilling 3–2 win against Singapore today at the King Abdullah II Stadium in Jordan.

Left winger Yeshi Bidha set the tone early, scoring in the 2nd minute.

Dorji Edon equalised in the 67th minute after Singapore had taken the lead, before Sunita Rai sealed the win with a decisive goal in the 87th minute.

The Dragon Girls will next face Lebanon on Thursday, followed by matches against Iran on Sunday and host nation Jordan on the 16th.

His Eminence Laytshog Lopen Sangay Dorji, who is currently serving as the Chairperson of the Foundation commended BKF team on the Foundation's dedicated efforts in supporting kidney patients, especially those in need at the grassroots level. Upon learning of the substantial monthly expenditure incurred by the Foundation which comes to over Nu. 350,000 per month, His Eminence generously contributed Nu. 100,000.00 towards this noble cause and also continuously guiding the foundation.
