5 things I tell my younger self👇
1. You don’t have to earn love by constantly proving your worth.
The right people won’t love you more because you exhausted yourself trying to be “enough.” You were already worthy way before the accomplishments, validation, or applause.
2. Not everyone will understand your heart, so don’t shrink it because of that.
You’ll spend too much time wondering if you’re “too sensitive,” “too emotional,” or “too much.” But your softness isn’t weakness, it’s a strength. The world needs people who feel and care deeply.
3. The things that make you different will one day become your strength.
The parts of yourself you once questioned — from your emotions, creativity, big dreams, perspective, and even your chronic illness — will eventually become the very things that help other people heal, feel seen, and believe in themselves.
4. Some chapters will completely break you open, but they’ll also lead you closer to yourself.
Not every ending is a punishment. Some losses, disappointments, heartbreak, and unexpected detours will redirect your life toward something way more true to who you’ll eventually become.
5. Happiness isn’t found in perfection, success, meeting expectations, or being chosen by everyone else.
It’s built in the small moments. Learning to trust yourself, speak kindly to yourself, create peace within yourself, and realize you don’t need to become someone else to be worthy of love. ♥️
