BMW M decided to do an M3 Touring after years of car enthusiasts only dreaming of one and making unofficial M3 conversions on standard 3-Series models to fulfill their dreams of an M3 Touring, and BMW SA said we are not going to miss out on that. So here we are, a whole high performance wagon in our market. The ability to open only the rear glass on the tailgate (as on all BMW Touring models) make it even more unique amongst its rivals.

So, this or the normal M3 sedan? We know wagons are not everyone's cup of tea but what do you think of this long-awaited M3 Touring?

As they say, 5 is 5!

A quick drive out of the city with a friend's Mk5 GTI turned into a session for pictures and admiration for the 5th generation of the Golf GTI when another Golf 5 GTI owner pulled up whilst we were taking pictures next to "Gaborone's sleeping giant". The Kgale Hill.

Believe it or not, we did not even know the gentleman at all but as you know, cars bring tend to men together. Both of these spot the Mk7 Golf GTI wheels, one has the Clubsport wheels and one has the standard Mk7 GTI wheels and you know, the Mk5 GTI goes well with a lot of wheel designs!

C43 & GLC 43? Hmmm, not for a long time.

These two models will be getting axed soon to pave way for their 6-Cylinder variants. The GLC 53 just debuted today. The upcoming C 53 though should replace both C43 and the C63 SE. It seems like Mercedes-AMG has finally realised something they should have 2 years ago. Nevertheless, these two are good looking cars, with class leading technology and as for the impressive powertrain, it's just that the application of it replaced one that were loved by many.

Botswana's first G99 BMW M5 TOURING.

Exciting news for the local car enthusiasts, there is a new BMW M5 TOURING that is will be gracing our local roads in no time. Keep an eye out for this one, it is another one of those new BMWs that you have to see in person to truly appreciate the design, how good it actually looks.

Remember, the new M5 uses a hybrid set-up for the powertrain whereby a V8 combustion engine is paired to an electric motor for increased power output. The figures stand at 535 kW of power (717 hp) and 1,000 Nm of torque. A 0-100 km/h sprint can be achieved in just 3.6 seconds which is quite impressive considering how heavy this car actually is at 2,550 kg.
