CAUTION: LONG POST AHEAD
🌸 A Letter From Me, On Mother’s Day 🌸
Dear You
From one woman to another — wife, mother, daughter, dreamer — I just want to say, I see you.
I see your tired eyes in the mirror after a long day. I feel the weight of the deadlines, the forgotten lunches, the late-night laundry, the early meetings, the missed calls. I know what it’s like to be constantly pouring out, giving, showing up, holding it all together — while quietly asking yourself when you last truly breathed just for you.
I’m a mother of two, working full time, running on faith, purpose, and (many days) fumes. And honestly? Most days, I am dancing at the edge of burnout. I am not complaining — I’m just finally admitting out loud what many of us whisper in silence: it’s hard. Beautiful, yes. Sacred, yes. But hard.
And so today, on Mother’s Day, I launch As She Soars — a space born from my own exhaustion, longing, and deep love. A space to honor women like you and me. Women who carry generations. Who often go unseen. Who sometimes forget they matter outside their roles.
I cannot begin this journey without speaking about my own mother. She died when I was just 15. And yet, she lives in me — in how I love, how I lead, how I hold space for others. As She Soars is a dedication to her. And to all mothers. Those here. Those who’ve left us. Those becoming. Those breaking. Those healing.
Motherhood is beautiful. But it is not always soft. It’s messy and holy and maddening and miraculous. And we deserve to take care of ourselves too. Not when everything else is done. But now. First.
So here’s to us. The whole of us.
We rise. We stumble. We soar.
With all my love,
Happy Mother’s Day to us all, as unique and amazing and special and diverse as we are 🤎🤍🩶
