MOSWEUNYANE JOINS THE ORANGE BRIGADE

Following their automatic promotion to the Premier League, Tonota FC did not waste time in luring quality players into their squad.

One of the interesting signings expected to be announced in the coming days is left-footed centre back, Thato Mosweunyane from Morupule Wanderers.

The 23 year old has penned a two year contract with Tonota FC and he is expected to play a crucial role in the 2026/27 FNB Premiership season.

The Matsiloje-born defender joins Tonota FC after featuring in 15 League matches and 1 Orange FA Cup appearance for Morupule Wanderers last season.

Zebras coach, Morena Ramoreboli showed confidence in his abilities during Mukuru Four-Nations tournament in Francistown played on the 28-30 March.

He came in as a substitute against Zimbabwe in the semi final replacing Tlamelo Kolagano in the 70th minute. In the third place play off match against Malawi, Mosweunyane played the entire 90 minutes.

WE OWED IT TO OUR SUPPORTERS - CAMA

Kanye United midfielder, Letsile "Cama" Montsho has praised the club's supporters for rallying behind them during the just ended season.

The Blues were recently crowned champions of Southern Block Promotional Play-offs which earned them a place in the 2026/27 First Division South League.

"Our loyal supporters deserves credit for ensuring that they push us all the way. After winning the League (SOFA Division 1), the community of Kanye came together to ensure that we win the play offs. It was not easy especially against Eastern Tigers in Mochudi but the love and support from outside the field was enough to keep us going," said Montsho.

Popularly known as Cama, Montsho joined Kanye United from Prisons Xl during the January transfer period. "I liked their vision hence it was easy for me to be part of the team. I felt at home from the first day and I would like to thank everyone at the club," he continued.

Montsho played eight League matches for The Blues, scoring three goals and three assists. During the play offs, he played a vital role in all the four matches, scoring one goal and contributing one assist.
