Partnering with Africa XP, a leading content distributor, we are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for talented filmmakers and TV producers in Botswana. We are seeking high-quality pilots and trailers for potential licensing and broadcast on YTV Botswana.

How to Submit:
• Step 1: Prepare a link to your pilot or trailer in the required format.
• Step 2: Prepare your video and any supporting materials (e.g., synopsis, cast and crew details).

Food for thought as you dive into the Easter holidays...

Only 4% of the world's animation industry is made up of Black individuals.
How often is animation considered "not a serious career" or high-achieving enough for children of black parents?
We need to change our mindset. "A re chencheng."

Breaking into any industry can be somewhat intimidating, but think about it – animation is all about creativity and imagination. And who better to bring fresh perspectives and unique stories to the table than us?

We've got talent, passion, and stories that deserve to be heard. So why not consider diving into the world of animation?
Apply for government initiatives and funding, start locally owned animation studios and hire our own people. Let's shake things up, challenge the status quo, and make our mark on an industry where our creativity can thrive.
