Hi, Iโm Tony Mautsu, founder of Social Light. Weโre building something bold โ a truly pan-African media intelligence platform โ and Iโm looking for someone equally bold to join us as our Library Executive in the Media Monitoring department.
This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who doesnโt wait to be told what to do. If youโre a go-getter, have a sharp eye for detail, and think globally about media trends and consumer conversations โ I want to hear from you.
What Youโll Do
>Track and source new media platforms across Africa and beyond.
>Monitor emerging stories, mentions, and sentiment within consumer groups.
>Support our platform with daily content from blogs, forums, radio, and beyond.
>Join strategic conversations and occasionally attend in-person meetings.
>Scan newspaper.
Who You Are
>Fluent in English and Setswana.
>Based in Botswana with reliable internet and remote discipline.
>Curious about media trends, PR, crisis comms, and online communities
You think globally, act locally, and thrive in fast-moving environments.
>Youโre proactive โ if youโre reading this and already have strategy ideas, we want you.
