Tebogo disqualified after false start in 100m final

Botswana's hopes of a first medal at the ongoing World Championships suffered a blow when Letsile Tebogo was disqualified for a false start in the 100m final. Jamaican Oblique Seville took gold while countryman, Kishane Thompson came second and Noah Lyles was third.
There is still hope for Botswana as Lee Eppie, Collen Kebinatshipi and Bayapo Ndori all made it to the 400m semi finals earlier today while Tebogo remains a favourite to win the 200m.

👉Captain Ditsile opened the scores giving the reds a led on the 64th minute, Omphile Ramoagi pinned a nail to the coffin on the 87th minute securing a hard-fought 2-0 victory for the reigning champions at home against Police XI. This win does not only bring much-needed points to the team but also marks their first home triumph.

-Motswagole:Returned from after missing three league games and played a full 90 minutes, keeping a clean sheet and solidifying the team's defense.

This win is a significant boost to the team's morale and momentum, demonstrating their resilience and ability to perform under pressure also boosting them for the much anticipated encounter against Simba next weekend.
