🔴 ENGLAND BEAT ITALY IN EXTRA TIME TO REACH WOMEN'S EURO 2025 FINAL

Chloe Kelly scored a dramatic late winner in extra-time as reigning champions England came from behind to beat Italy 2-1 on Tuesday and reach the Women's Euro 2025 final.

The Lionesses had been on the brink of elimination as they trailed to Barbara Bonansea's first-half strike for surprise semifinalists Italy in Geneva.

But after their remarkable comeback from two goals down to beat Sweden on penalties in last week's quarterfinal, they pulled off more heroics here.

Michelle Agyemang came off the bench and forced the extra period by equalising in the 96th minute, and fellow substitute Kelly completed the turnaround by following in to score the winner in the 119th minute after her penalty had been saved.

Sarina Wiegman's team are through to their third consecutive major tournament final and the 2022 European champions head to Basle for Sunday's showpiece.

That will be either a repeat of the 2023 Women's World Cup final, which they lost to Spain, or a repeat of the last Euro final, in which they defeated Germany at Wembley – those sides meet in their semi on Wednesday.

🔴 MOROCCO SET UP WAFCON FINAL SHOWDOWN WITH NIGERIA

Morocco have set up a title showdown against Nigeria in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) after they defeated Ghana 4-2 on penalties in the second semifinal, played at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat on Tuesday night.

The Atlas Lionesses and Black Queens played out a 1-1 draw over 120 minutes, with Stella Nyamekye and Sakina Ouzraoui netting for the West and North African teams respectively.

The tournament hosts were then able to hold their nerve in the penalty shootout, giving them a chance to exorcise the demons of their 2022 WAFCON final loss on home soil at the hands of South Africa.

🔴 LATE ALOZIE WINNER PUTS NIGERIA INTO WAFCON FINAL

Michelle Alozie’s winner four minutes into injury-time handed Nigeria a 2-1 victory over defending champions South Africa in Casablanca on Tuesday to claim a place in the final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Rasheedat Ajibade had given the Super Flacons the lead from the penalty-spot in the first half, before South Africa struck back with a spot-kick of their own in the second period via Linda Motlhalo.

Just as it seemed extra-time would be needed, Alozie floated a cross deep into the box and under pressure from two Nigerian forwards, South Africa goalkeeper Andile Dlamini allowed the ball to pass her and into the net.

Record nine-time winners Nigeria now meet the winner of Tuesday’s second semifinal between hosts Morocco and Ghana in Rabat.
