*Upcoming Presidential Holidays and Exam Readiness Program*

Dear Valued Clients,

In light of the upcoming Presidential holidays, we would like to inform you that our offices will be closed from Friday, the 18th, to Tuesday, the 22nd. We will resume regular operations on Wednesday, the 23rd.

We kindly ask that you postpone your sessions to either Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Additionally, starting the week of the 23rd, we will be running our intensive Exam Readiness Program for students preparing for their October exams. This program is designed to boost academic confidence and help manage exam anxieties. It is especially beneficial for students who are in special education and will be sitting for their exams.

If you wish to enroll your child in this program, please communicate with our office at your earliest convenience.

Thank you for your understanding. We wish you and your family happy holidays. Please stay safe and remember that while your children are enjoying their time off, they are in the midst of mock exams. It’s important to strike a balance between fun and studying during this period.

Let's start here:
Learning disabilities are not indicative of a person’s intelligence. In fact, individuals with learning disabilities often possess average or above-average intelligence. However, their unique learning profiles may hinder their ability to acquire skills in conventional ways. For example, a child with dyslexia may struggle with reading and spelling despite having a strong vocabulary and comprehension when listening. Similarly, a student with dyscalculia may have difficulty understanding numbers and performing mathematical calculations, but they may excel in other areas, such as abstract reasoning.

Gratitude Post

Sometime last year, we go engaged by one Junior school in Molepolole to do an assessment of close to 25 students. We had a very interesting moment with both the parents and the students, emotional moment for some ,(re ledile to come nice😂) the Elegant Living 360 assessment is not a joke iyooo, mostly the part on past hurts, pain and all psychosocial issues. We even went to having some therapy sessions and one on one with some students and had to see some parents for counseling. Mind you, sometimes the brokenness of a child is as a result of a bleeding parent.

Back to the assessment, we had a very tight deadline and I know our team had sleep less nights trying to mark, compile and report on those many assessments. And yah the form 3 results came 💪💪💪 no Us and only 2Es in a school that had 35Us

The reason for this post is not to brag with results but to just remind schools and parents out there that interventions are there. Let's invest more on trying to level the playground so every child can excel. No child is stupid, we all learn differently and for some too much clutter has accumulated around their shiny diamond being so much that all they know is words that say they are to amount to nothing. Let's join and fight this decline in academic performance.

An assessment is the first step to ensuring that your child has the best possible learning environment that will allow them to thrive academically. They help educators know unique patterns of study for your child. Guiding them to select appropriate exercises and examples relevant for them. Help foster teacher-family relationships as they will be in constant communication about the progress and learning of the child. An assessment will also help you to be aware of the issues and traumas that your child is battling with.

Are dumalaneng my beloved Parents, this festive you are not going to put your kids through the frustration of being compared to anyone. We are each running our unique race and I repeat those kids aren't stupid they just learn differently.
