GABORONE β In a shining example of Black excellence and entrepreneurial vision, award-winning musician and business mogul Vee Mampeezy is set to launch his second Veetroβs restaurant at Grand Palm Groove Mall, Block 6, in just two daysβ time now offering 24-hour service to Gaborone residents.
The official opening is scheduled for January 7 at 10am, building on the resounding success of Veetroβs first branch at Game City Mall, which drew massive public support and quickly became a community favourite.
The Block 6 outlet signals more than just expansion it represents faith, resilience, and the power of citizen-led enterprise in Botswana. By introducing a round-the-clock service, Mampeezy is providing convenience for shift workers, students, travellers and late-night food lovers, while demonstrating that Black-owned businesses can set the standard for innovation and excellence.
Reflecting on his journey, Mampeezy said:
βVeetroβs was once a quiet dream. Through Godβs guidance, hard work and the support of my family, friends, fans and team, it has become a reality. Setbacks are part of the journey, but faith and perseverance make the impossible possible.β
He also encouraged young people to stay committed to their dreams, reminding them that vision, hard work and belief in oneself are the keys to success.
The grand opening will be a celebration of talent and culture, featuring performances from Vee Mampeezy, Sphalaphala, Culture Spears, Han C, Mmaausi, April Gates, Swag Kids DJs, and South African sensation Saga Marothi.
Mampeezy expressed heartfelt appreciation to supporters, particularly Bareki, whose contributions helped make this second Veetroβs outlet a reality.
