Ever wondered what makes overlanding easier?
Well let me show you a few products I truly believe in and use on my overlanding trips!

Day 9: Khumaga to Khama Rhino Sanctuary.

Early morning cup of coffee (or 3) before we tear down camp and made our way to Khama Rhino Sanctuary.

We checked in, dropped the trailer in camp and went to Serwe Pan and Malema Pan to soak in the last bit Botswana had to offer. We had a magical afternoon, awesome sightings and were blessed with a stunning sunset…

Around the fire, reality sank in… It’s our last night in Botswana. We had a great time, exploring together and sharing what we all love… Overlanding!

But the next day, I got to see the faces I’ve missed the most… My wife .pret who kept everything up and running whilst Im out doing what I love, and my 2 boys!

Day 8 & 9: Baines Baobabs to Gweta to Khumaga.

An early start at Baines Baobabs as we made our way out of Nxai Pans National Park. At the gate, we inflated our tyres and proceeded to Gweta. Took the compulsory Gweta Aardvark photo and called home for the night.

The next morning, we jumped on the game viewer and headed to Ntwetwe Pan. There, we ditched the game viewer and hopped on the quad bikes. We then spent some time with the Meerkat colony of Ntwetwe Pan before heading back to Camelthorn Farmstead, Khumaga.

What an action packed day it has been! 🤙🏼

Day 7: South Camp to Baines Baobabs.

We set off to the famous Baines Baobabs in Nxai Pans. To stand in front of Baines Baobabs felt like a walk through history… Famous for its painting by Thomas Baines in 1862, we were in awe of these stunning giants. In the middle of nowhere!

We had another beautiful sunset and chatted the night away around the fire!

Day 5: South Camp, Nxai Pans National Park.

We spent two nights in South Camp. We enjoyed a stunning sunset and sunrise from camp. Today, we took it easy… Caught up on some work, sorted out one or two issues on the rigs and just kicked back.

We took a drive to the nearby waterhole and a quiet, calm morning turned into an unforgettable time at this stunning location…

The African bush never disappoints… 👌🏼

Day 4: Khumaga to Nxai Pans (South Camp)

Early out the feathers, we stocked up with wood and deflated tyres. Then made our way to the Makgadikgadi National park. We entered through the Khumaga gate, battled thick sand (yes, i did get stuck, twice! 😂 bare in mind, Im sitting at 4700kgs) and exited the park Via the Phuduhudu gate!

Took on the infamous road of Nxai Pans National Park… Safe to say, the rigs handled that road with ease! 🤙🏼

We were welcomed by a few elephant bulls in camp followed by a stunning sunset…

Day 3: Kubu to Khumaga (Camelthorn Farmstead)

After a magical evening and an unforgettable sunrise at Kubu Island, it was time to head to Khumaga.
We spent the afternoon on the viewing deck of Camelthorn Farmstead, a stunning location on the Boteti River just outside the Makgadikagi National Park, watching the current Zebra migration.
I can highly recommend Camelthorn Farmstead, a beautiful and well kept destination! 🤙🏼
Stay tuned as the next day was action packed as we headed into Makgadikgadi National Park!😉
