Profiling and celebrating our 2024 Best Woman Owned SME Business BeautyHooked proudly sponsored by Dawn Bell Academy

Beautyhooked was founded by Figar Mogorosi in 2018, beginning its journey in a cozy corner of a residential lounge. Before Figar worked for the government under the Department of Immigration and decided to take a risk and resigned after 3 years to join her husband Joel Mogorosi who was working for Bloemfontein Celtic.

While in Bloemfontein, she enrolled in a one-year Beauty Course at THE NAIL HOUSE. When her husband’s contract ended, they relocated back to Botswana. It was then that Beautyhooked Pampering Hands was born, starting from a small corner of their lounge at home. With time, patience, and determination, Beautyhooked Pampering Hands began to flourish. I introduced my sister, Omphemetse P**e, to the business, and together we embarked on building it into something special.

I discovered a gem in the beauty industry, leading to the birth of Beautyhooked Pampering Hands. Despite the market's saturation, nurturing your dream with daily positive thoughts is essential. As women, we should always strive to improve our lives. With high demand and a growing clientele, Beautyhooked Pampering Hands relocated to a larger, more relaxing space in Block 3, Gaborone. Here, we introduced several new services, including nails, makeup, massage, waxing, and foot spa treatments. Our team expanded, and we now proudly employ seven skilled beauty therapists. Figar firmly believes that no one can destroy your dream unless you allow it.

"Keep believing in yourself. If something comes in your way to distract you, leap over it."

VISION:
• To enhance Individual’s natural beauty.
• Transform your everyday look to become more beautiful and outstanding and friends will envy you.

MISSION:
• We are committed to making our Beauty Spa a relaxing and enjoyable experience for everyone.
• We promise to always be on-trend, with the latest designs and technologies.
• We offer competitive pricing without sacrificing quality.
